Teens Against Procrastination is a social network. There’s no arguing with that. So WHY would one wish to join an anti-procrastination social network when the main cause of their procrastination is social networking?
The answer is surprisingly simple. We’re fighting fire with fire. We’re motivating teens to join the community through the positive aspects of social media. We’re eliminating the negative aspects, such as competitiveness over “likes” and jealously over photos. However, we’re creating a familiar environment with a clear goal. Frankly, if there were no social networking capabilities on this site, almost no teens would be willing to sign up.
Similarly, our main promotional technique has been through social media. Just yesterday, we created an Instagram account for this organization! In a sense, this will be the perfect way for us to “target” the people who need our help the most (in the most non-creepy way possible). Glad that we’ve found each other.
To end this post, here’s a deeply meaningful song that I wrote:

Who do we appreciate?
