IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER!

Which means…

THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS COMING SOON!!!

Personally, I truly love these last few months of the year. It’s perfect for sipping on a pumpkin spice latte, wearing some fuzzy Halloween socks, and spending quality time with friends and family. Oh, and how could I forget the best part? When you look around, you’ll finally start to see more and more spooky decorations!

But there’s something even spookier than the spookiest spooky decoration during Spooky Month…

…It’s the possibility of increased distractions. And of course, distractions are a delicious snack for the most terrible monster of them all…

PROCRASTINATION.

Don’t let the procrastination monster attack you! Your entire life is still ahead of you; protect yourself at all costs before it’s too late!

So, how can you stay safe from the beast? Well, here are some tips that will weaken the Procrastination monster and make it unable to sneak up on you:

  1. Always turn on the light in your mind that motivates you to keep working hard.
  2. Hide from your social media as much as possible, because they’re traps set up by the monster to capture you.
  3. Take care of your body by eating and sleeping well, so you’ll be physically ready to fight if the monster does somehow find a way to strike.

And that’s basically all that you have to do! It’s definitely easier said than done, but if you don’t put in any effort towards Procrastination Prevention, I will guarantee that you will be the first one to be eaten up…

Stay safe, my friends.

(AND HAVE FUN BECAUSE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR IS TRULY WONDERFUL)

  1. I always found myself extra stressed during this time of the year: all the parties, social events, school activities to attend; all the pictures, posts, videos on social media I have to check and comment…… And school and homework often have to take back seats and my grades drop. Thanks for the timely reminder.

    1. If you are a high school senior don’t forget the most important thing at this time of your life: college applications. Don’t let it take a back seat, or you will regret for the rest of your life.

  2. Great to this the site came back live again! It helped me a lot. I was lost when it went dark for such a long time. Great to see all the posts. They made me realized that I am not alone and that I am not the only one who suffers from frequent relapses of procrastination. Together we can fight it and conquer it! Keep up the good work!
