A Team Against Procrastination

Posted on

I have to make a confession.

Over the past few months, I feel like this website has changed from an interactive social network to a… simple blog. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE BLOGGING ON HERE, and I love all of the supportive comments that I’ve been receiving lately!

I guess you could just say┬áthat I believe that Teens Against Procrastination has more than enough potential to become a Team Against Procrastination, but it hasn’t yet harnessed that potential.

I hope you guys still remember my original inspiration for creating this site: I wanted to UNITE teens together in their fight against procrastination, and essentially “fight fire with fire” with the incredible powers of social networking. That’s exactly why members have access to so many cool social features! You can add friends, send public messages, chat in the support groups, and participate in the forums. Currently, these areas of the site have become largely inactive, but I would love to see more of you engaging with each other in some meaningful conversations.

So this week, I challenge each and every one of you to do the following:

  • Add/accept three or more friends
  • Send a positive public message to one of your friends (or to me, if you would like!)
  • Join one of the support groups and say something in it
  • Participate in one of the discussions in the forums

That’s it! Ultimately, it’s up to you if you want to accept my challenge, but I strongly believe that you’ll enjoy it and maybe even learn from it. Of course, TAP is always a safe place and all messages/comments are monitored closely.

Put simply, I truly want us to become the #TAPteam that I’ve always dreamed of. So go ahead!!! Make some new friends!!! And feel free to add ME (@admintiffany) as a friend because I love new friends!!!
